I work for a radio station, so I'm up very early for work. When I get out, its too early for lunch. The only places open are places like Smokey Mo's BBQ. They have 2 items on their breakfast menu... tacos (choice of eggs, cheese, potatoes, brisket, bacon, sausage, beans, chorizo, salsa) and they have bowls. Same choices for both. You won't need more than those options. Tacos with brisket, potatoes, beans, cheese, eggs, and salsa? The brisket is unbelievable. Even at 9am. Only thing better than the ingredients are the portions. These tortillas are STRUGGLING to keep it together with all the food

Yes we have patronize this store on evans n stone oak since we move into the neighborhood 2015. Even got to meet the manager Jose (at that time there two), but one left. Well we move on further down the road and tried other Smokey Mo's, but we didn't get the warm reception as we have on the one on 20210 Stone Oak Pkwy. So we now basically just patronize this store even though we are not in the same location. Thank you for serving the best BBQ and warm service.

Best brisket in San Antonio. It’s so tender and fresh. Outstanding tender brisket and fresh sides, perfect spot for military families with their discount! Owner’s quick thank , you made it even better. Highly recommend for San Antonio relos! My brother visited from phx and said it’s a 10 plus rating

Reviews are accurate. Just absolutely delicious food. We tried the turkey, sausage, chicken and brisket... Meats cooked to perfection, and so flavorful! Add to that the sides, also rightly done, the amount of seasonings just perfect. The pecan and apple pies we all in my family loved. Please, keep up the great work. We'll be back!

Smokey Mo’s never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the people. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have you there, which makes the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a place that feels like a neighborhood favorite every time you visit.

DAYUM! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that today's Brisket sandwich was the BEST Brisket sandwich I've had in my almost 43 years of life. The place was spotless and the guy at the counter (Daniel C.) taking orders was great too, he had a friendly and welcoming attitude which is always appreciated, so thank you for that! I ordered a single meat Brisket sandwich and asked for it marbled. I know it's always a risk asking for that because sometimes people just don't really know what that means and you end up getting dry Brisket with a layer of fat on top, that's not marbled so I was hoping for the best, but anticipating that I might not really get what I was hoping for but damn was I SURPRISED. This sandwich was WOW! Whoever was working on shift today 4/13/25 at 3:50pm...they gave me what I was hoping for and I was not disappointed. I've been to several different Smoky Mo's and this has been the best in all ways by far. Again, best Brisket sandwich I've ever eaten. Now I have FOMO cause this is gonna be hard to beat! Keep up the great work, thank you!!!

Great BBQ that was juicy, savory and cooked so well the pulled pork almost seemed to slide off my fork! The brisket was chopped into squares that were so tender and had a savory taste. Desserts were small portions but tasted home made. Definitely a place I would recommend and return to for some neighborhood BBQ!

It was delivery not eat in. I ordered 3 meat one being ribs but they put brisket instead. Other then that the food was great as usual. Love their potato salad and cole slaw. Apple pie was good also.

The staff is friendly and helpful! The smoked brisket and smoked turkey is delicious. Not everyone knows how to make coleslaw, Smokey MO’s BBQ coleslaw is also delicious!

The food here is always excellent, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. They truly take great care of their guests every time. The brisket is outstanding — I always ask for it moist — and the cream corn is another favorite. Eric always goes above and beyond with a smile, making you feel right at home. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!
